A 19-year-old driver accused of repeatedly ramming a rideshare vehicle carrying two passengers has been arrested and is now facing charges including driving disqualified and endangering life.

The alleged road rage incident in Adelaide's north was one of several crashes attended by police in the past 24 hours.

Police were called to the roundabout at the intersection of Lake Gairdner Parade and Rifle Range Road at Greenwith about 2:15am. They allege the 19-year-old driver ran from the scene before he was found a short distance away outside his home.

"Fortunately, the 31-year-old rideshare driver and his passenger, a 25-year-old man, escaped with only minor injuries and did not require medical treatment,"

Police said. The 19-year-old allegedly refused a breath test and was arrested, before he later recorded a blood-alcohol reading of 0.116.

He was charged with drink driving, driving disqualified, failing to comply with direction and two counts of endangering life, and was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on November 27.

Police said significant damage was sustained by both vehicles, which needed to be towed away.

Witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage have been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Other incidents

A 53-year-old man was killed in a crash between a car and an SUV at the intersection of Penfield and King roads at Virginia earlier in the night.

"The driver of the Ford sedan, a 53-year-old man from Angle Vale, sadly died at the scene,"

Police said. His death is the 85th on the state's roads this year.

A 66-year-old Murray Bridge woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after her car rolled on the Copper Coast Highway at Port Wakefield.

Hours later, a 67-year-old driver was rushed to hospital after the car he was driving hit a tree at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills.

Go-kart incident

An 18-year-old man who allegedly rode a go-kart through two reserves in Adelaide's north while children and families were present is expected to face court.

Police said they received reports of a go-kart being driven through Carisbrooke and Harry Bowey reserves at Salisbury Park on Sunday afternoon.

The alleged driver was tracked to a home at nearby Elizabeth Vale, where the go-kart was found "underneath a tarp" before it was impounded.

"The go-kart was impounded after the incident at Salisbury Park."

The man was reported for driving disqualified and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
