A remarkable rescue effort unfolded on the coast recently, as a kangaroo was spotted drifting out to sea on a makeshift raft. The marsupial, seemingly unharmed, managed to hitch a ride back to shore, leaving onlookers amazed.

The unexpected incident occurred when a group of people noticed the kangaroo floating away from the coastline. Witnesses described the scene as 'surreal' and 'unbelievable' as the kangaroo clung to a raft.

'I was just out for a walk along the beach and I saw something bobbing in the water,' said one witness. 'As I got closer, I realized it was a kangaroo on a little raft thingy.'

The witness added, 'I don't know how it ended up out there, but it was really just clinging to the raft for dear life.'

Fortunately, the kangaroo managed to safely make its way back to shore, where it was met with a mixture of relief and amusement from the gathered crowd.
