Other notable acts include Texan soul sensation Leon Bridges, who will make his WOMADelaide debut with his feel-good, groove-laden new album Happiness Anytime. Angine de Poitrine from Quebec will also jet in to Australia for the first time, bringing their unique blend of instrumental rock and paper mâché, polka-dotted alien look.
British ska pop icons Madness will return to Australia for the first time in a decade, armed with all their hits, including Our House, It Must Be Love, and Baggy Trousers.
